You will realize that most of our values as an organization are human rights on their own. We however, still list human rights as part of our many values. This is because there are other inalienable fundamentals every person is entitled to that have not been particularly singled out on our list of values yet we also dearly value them. We are very particular about human rights; the organization is about bringing sanity to humanity in a manner that is friendly, constructive, progressive and driven by love. We want to be at a place where every person on the planet is afforded the decency and dignity they deserve. Some of the very few things that distinguish human beings from other living creatures are the set of rights that one should be afforded. It is nobody’s right or duty to infringe or take those rights away from another.

These rights are universal meaning that they are applicable anywhere and at any time. They are the same for everyone and they are not supposed to be taken away from anyone. There is also need for a guarantee from the law, to safeguard these rights, so that no one infringes or takes away these rights from another person. The fact that one is human naturally qualifies them to enjoy the protection and guarantees of this set of rights. This is regardless of background color, creed, gender or any other status. The term human rights is broad and covers a wide range of rights that include but not limited to, freedom of expression, freedom of association, fair trial, protection against enslavement and prohibition of genocide.
The world agreed to work together to collectively safeguard and ensure that these rights are not infringed through the various agreements and charters that have been signed throughout the history of humanity. We, as an organization stand guided by the such agreements as the Universal Declaration for Human Rights (UDHR), the African Charter on Human and People’s Rights and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child among many other conventions, charters and agreements that proclaim the same. We have a very simple, direct and friendly approach towards the issue of rights. We simply intent to promote, safeguard and defend human rights in a manner that is all but hostile.
