Definite was born in 2012. She has spinal cord and neck complications. She can hear but she cannot walk, talk, or use her hands. Her jaws are weak as well so she likes soft foods like peanut butter, butternuts, potatoes, beans, fish, and eggs most of which are expensive. Her mother grows beans, pumpkins, and has chickens at their rural home for the eggs she likes.
Because Definite can not use her limps she is always on her mother’s back, on the bed and at times they sit her in a dish supported with blankets to make a makeshift special chair for her. She likes eating at night and her mother wakes up almost every night to feed her. She sleeps on her mother’s chest so the mother sleeps on her back every night so that Definite can sleep peacefully on her chest.
The mother is appealing for a wheelchair, blankets, food, and pumpers. Definite’s father goes to work but the money he gets is not enough to even feed his family for a month.
“I am appealing for a wheelchair because most of the time I have to carry her on my back, she is almost nine years old. She is growing big and heavy so much that my back and chest now hurt. Sometimes we put her in a dish supported with blankets but she does not like the dish anymore because it is getting small for her. A wheelchair will make life easy for me because I also have to look after Definite’s two little sisters as well,” said Definite’s mother.
