The Tembo family stays in Highfield. They have three children, out of the three children they are only staying with one, the other one ran away from home while the other one is looking after their grandmother in Chegutu. The grandmother succumbed to a stroke. Both Mr. and Mrs. Tembo do not go to work. They say life has been very difficult for them.
“My wish is to get money and start buying and selling stuff so that I can take care of my family. At the moment I don’t even have the money for food let alone capital for starting a small business venture. One of my children ran away because he was involved in a fight with a neighbour’s child, he thought I was going to beat him up. He walked out and never came back. He has been gone for months now. We have reported the matter to the police but we are yet to get anything,” said Mrs Tembo.
