The Friendly Society has a number of projects lined-up. The projects are aimed at addressing many of the challenges most Zimbabweans face on daily bases including poverty, pollution, gender-based violence, poor sanitation, unemployment, drug abuse to mention but just a few. However, we are not able to say much about them at the moment as we are still engaging various stakeholders and partners we intent to work with on the projects. Perhaps three of the projects we can share with you at moment are the Friendly Magazine and Friendly TV.

Friendly Magazine
The Story of People

This will be a bi-monthly magazine, its main thrust is to tell many untold stories in the Zimbabwean society. We will visit all the corners of the countries unearthing human-interest stories you have never heard. We believe everyone has a story to tell and the Friendly Magazine is a platform tailored to give everyone a voice. The Friendly Magazine will mainly focus on telling the story of the underprivileged, the deprived, the disadvantaged, the disabled, the marginalized, the impoverished and generally those that are struggling to make ends meets. We will tell their different stories to the world with the hope of provoking anyone who can help to do so. The Friendly Magazine will also look at the work being done by various Friendlies (individuals or organizations) to help improve the lives of the disadvantaged in the society, the needy and the environment.  We will also try to highlight unfriendly or hostile activities that could be tearing the society or the environment apart with the aim of discouraging such activities.

Friendly TV
People in the Lance

The Friendly TV will be focusing on the production of documentaries with the same mission and vision as the Friendly Magazine. The human interest and environmental documentaries will be downloaded on our website and via our YouTube channel. The documentaries will also be shared on various social media platforms like our Twitter and Facebook accounts for easy accessibility. Our crew will visit places you never thought existed, the most remote of the remote areas, the places you never heard of and they will unearth stories you have never heard.  Our main aim in all this is to let people know the hardships and challenges being faced by other people with the hope of convincing those that can to chip in and help to do so. We, ourselves as the Friendly Society might not have enough resources to help all those that are going to tell us their stories but we know that someone somewhere has the capacity to do so.
